Location
6 of the 7 Sartore Apartments are located on or by
the vibrant Salizzada San Lio, just a few minutes walk
east of the famous Ponte Rialto Bridge. The location
enjoys the best of both worlds, being in the heart of
the historical centre yet in quiet streets and courtyards.
Take a look at our interactive map of Venice below for
a better idea.
A few steps away from the Sartore Apartments there
is a large supermarket, a bakery, a fresh fruit and
vegetable shop and one of the best ice cream parlours
in Venice.
The 7th apartment, Ca' D'Oro, is located
just on the other side of the Grand Canal, so technically
in the Cannaregio district. This apartment is about
a 10 minute walk from the rest.
Being so close to the Grand Canal, all of the Sartore
Apartments are easily accessible by public and private
water transport, which also means guests can get virtually
anywhere else in the city quickly and easily.
Piazza San Marco, or St Mark’s Square –
the nucleus of Venice and heart of the many special
events and festivals held in this unique and fascinating
city - is a leisurely 10 minute walk to the south.

Directions
From the Airport : Take either ACTV
or ATVO shuttle services from Marco Polo International
Airport to Piazzale Roma. (You’ll
find links to these companies on our Useful
Links page.)
From Piazzale Roma : If you’re
driving to Venice you’ll have to park up here
– Venice is a car free city! Take water buses
1, 52 or 82 or a water taxi to Ponte Rialto where a
member of staff will meet you and escort you to your
apartment.
From Santa Lucia Train Station : As
above, take water buses 1, 52 or 82 to Ponte Rialto
where a member of staff will meet you and escort you
to your apartment.
Alternatively, from Ponte Rialto you can walk down
to Salizzada San Lio (about 3 minutes) and check in
at the Hotel Da Bruno – this may be preferable
to those arriving late at night since the hotel reception
is attended 24 hours.
Use the map above to help you.
If you’re staying at the Ca’ D’Oro
apartment, a member of staff can meet you there –
again, water buses 1, 52 or 82 will take you straight
there. Ca’ D’Oro is before Ponte Rialto
on the Grand Canal. |
